What is the Fausto?

The Fausto is the latest commercial grade domestic grinder from Rocket Espresso Milano – The Macinatore Fausto. It’s amazingly well built, aesthetically beautiful, ergonomic in use and looks absolutely stunning next to the Rocket Espresso Machines themselves. It has 65mm flat steel burrs, touch screen controls and a very fast grind time.

It fuses the performance of Eureka grinders, with their patented micro-metric adjustment dial alongside the design aesthetic of the Rocket range.

Think a fusion of the Zenith HS and a much slicker cousin of the Mazzer Super Jolly and you’re pretty close. It is essentially a commercial grade grinder, geared for domestic use. This is the matte black finish version.

How does it work / program?

The digital display has a shot counter and two programmable control buttons allows for quick adjustments and effortless portion control. It works on a time based system, so you can adjust the timed based programs with accuracy to 0.1 second. The system is easy to use and offers fast response times.

What is it capable of?

It can grind 17g of espresso in roughly 6 seconds. It has good distribution of grind from it’s on demand shute and clump crusher design, and provides a high standard of uniform grind consistency.
